Our law firm in Annapolis, Maryland was founded in 1974 by our principal attorney and partner, Thomas F. Ellis, III.  Prior to this, Mr. Ellis worked as a claims adjuster for State Farm insurance. Through that experience, he gained a unique understanding of the methods insurance companies commonly employ to defend their claims. Since becoming a full-time lawyer in 1974, Mr. Ellis has expanded his practice beyond insurance-related matters to help as many people as he can.

Mr. Ellis recognizes the impact that legal problems have on the lives of his clients. By keeping his clients well informed on the law and up-to-date on their case, Mr. Ellis ensures that they understand the legal issues related to the matter at all times. He treats each individual client with care, respect and concern and brings his focused dedication to each case. Thomas Ellis’s devotion to his clients is best reflected in the fact that referrals from satisfied clients and other legal peers constitute a major portion of Mr. Ellis’s new cases and clients.

Tom Ellis is happily married and has three daughters he raises in this community. Before becoming a lawyer, he was a captain in the Army. In an effort to further educate the public about the law, he has taught paralegal programs on the various areas of his practice.
